Nicky Sanders

Nicky Sanders is a Grammy Awardwinning, American fiddle player specializing in Bluegrass music. He is best known for his work with the band Steep Canyon Rangers along with banjo player and comedian Steve Martin. Raised in San Francisco, he began studying classical violin at age of five. In his youth, he acted as concertmaster of the Young Peoples Symphony Orchestra in Berkeley, California. He later attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, studying classical and jazz performance as well as 20thcentury classical music composition.
